Карта городского парка
Городской парк – это самый зелёный и большой парк в Саратове. Это пространство для отдыха, спорта, прогулок с детьми, веселых развлечений и игр на свежем воздухе для тысяч горожан.
Горпарк основан в 1935 году, его территория – 19 гектаров зеленой дубравы, каскад прудов, красивые клумбы. Разнообразие обитателей (утки, лебеди, белки, рыбы, черепахи) не оставляет равнодушными гостей парка.
Сегодня Городской парк – это экологический и культурный центр города. Здесь проводятся музыкальные фестивали и спортивные мероприятия; детские, благотворительные, культурные акции. На территории парка регулярно выступают театральные и танцевальные коллективы, устраиваются кинопоказы на открытом воздухе. Пространство отдыха и концентрация активности – это ваш любимый Горпарк.

из истории Городского парка:
В начале XIX века здесь располагалась усадьба губернатора А. Д. Панчулидзева
На территории были аллеи с ручьями, фруктовый сад, родники.
В середине XIX столетия усадьбой пользовался Мариинский институт благородных девиц.
Дубовой роще Горпарка более двухсот лет.
Десять лет назад для очистки прудов в них запускали метровых амуров.
Городской парк в 2017 году был удостоен наградой "Хрустальное колесо" за арт-объект "Русские узоры".
